I'm in the market for a tacoma but they seem to have around 150k up here, I know these are reliable trucks but how long can these truck go for with out major happenings?

I know a lot has to do with how the truck was kept, but a ball park would help.

How long it will last has a lot more to do with how it is kept than the miles on the odometer. What condition is the body in? The interior? How does the engine compartment look? Any signs of oil or other fluids leaking? That is what I check before worrying about mileage.

 

I sold a '91 Tacoma that had 220K miles. It still ran great. But I had every service done on it that was supposed to be done. Your mileage may vary.

 

thats weird, i would have given you a million bucks for a 91 tacoma.

With everyone EXCEPT yotatech, it's much easier to just say '91 Tacoma. For those who don't know, Toyota only had one truck back then. So when I would say "I had a '91 Toyota truck", someone would always ask, "which one?".

I should have realized the opposite would be true here. :pat:
