even another 3/8" spacer would lead to internal shock failure because of over extension.

it would also cause the cv's to bind and break at the splines.

this is as high as you go with IFS if you dont want to break things left and right offroad.

only way to go higher is a body lift or a pro comp 4" drop bracket lift or similar.

i guess i got to go SAS then!

A top out spacer lowers the shock so at full compression it gets pushed in 3/8" further. The shocks can handle 3/8" but they can not handle 3/4" (Two Top out spacers) what has happened is that the guts of the shock were completely destroyed.

Also two top put spacers on the short Tokico shocks makes them as long as the Old Man Emu front shocks and at full drop, you will bind the CV and crack the cage. IE, break the axle.

We have done very extensive testing on the hardest trails out there. Rubicon, Pritchett Canyon, Holy Cross City, Chinaman's Gulch, Lower Terminator, Martinez Canyon. If it could break we have broke it and find a fix for it.

The IFS works well if done right. I have a test Tacoma up in Susanville, CA running 37's on an IFS we setup. It's strong when done correctly.

Yes, 6" Fabtec with the Tundra/Tokico setup. 8" of front lift.

steve, how about a link for the procomp and maybe some more information on the ifs taco.

and i'll make my own thread for this, but in the next week or so me and doug from toytec are experimenting with the OME 883 to solve both the rake and ifs issues. it's a little shorter than the 882s i have now, but they have a significantly higher load rate, which should reduce the amount it 'sits' after breaking in. it should end up yielding an inch afterwards, and with the shorter coil will reduce uca issues as well as cv angles, and should feel just as firm as the 882s....as i said, i'll have everything laid out in the coming week or so
