Hey Im installing a autogauge tach in my 85 runner , but I seem to have run into a problem . I dont know were all these wires go ? there are 4 wires ones red , black , green and white . The black one is a ground , the red one is a power ... I think , the green one .... ah I dont know where the green or white one goes . the green wire connects to the negative coil wire, the white one connects to your dash lights, so find a wire that is hot when the dimmer switch is on and tap into that

 

You might even have a tach plug in. I know my 87 and my friend's 92 had a little green plug that was capped off, I stuck the green in there.

 

it doesnt have the tach plug in all ready checked , and which one is the negative coil wire ? thanx
