Help diagnosing AFM
#2
The AFM is just upstream of your airbox. It's a big, ugly, silver and black thing.
Go here for some excellent information on your AFM. You AFM is down the page a ways. It is the the Vane Air Flow Meter. You should recognize what it is when you see the pic. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view that site.
Hope this helps.

Great Info!
Dr.Z: I have to commend you on always having a great explaination/document on the engine-electronics of our vehicles. You are a valuable asset to our Forum. I have always wondered about the AFM on my 3.0L V6. Thanks for sharing that link.

You're welcome David.
I like being helpful. I don't do this for accolades or the attention. It's just fun for me to share information and talk about stuff that interests me with others who share those interests.
That is one of the best sites on the internet for our vehicles. I'm glad you found it useful.
Peace!
