Help with CD player

Wife managed to get a CD stuck in the factory player in her 99 4runner. Any tips on getting it out w/o screwing something up?

i think there is no way to get it out time for a new cd player............. if its a cd you dont like you might be able to get ahold of it with needle nose pliers

Might try a thin wire with a short 90* bend to hook and pull it out.

Krue,
Sorry to say, but...
The only safe way to get a stuck CD out is to take the radio apart.
We get a lot of warrantly returns with CDs stuck. Usually, they are the Home Burned CDs with a stuck on label (85%).
Once in a while we get a double disc (CD data on one side, DVD data on the other) (9%).

With those stats, I would assume that she did not get a store bought CD stuck. I would scrap the CD player and drop in a new aftermarket...

my 2 bits.
tdk.
