i have just recently bought a 1985 4runner SR5. i was wondering if anyone knew of some sites that sell lift kits for a reasonable price. in addtion i was wondering if some one could tell me what types of leaf springs i could pull out from a junk yard to give my 4runner a sick looking lift.

Pick up a copy of every off roading magazine you can find (Offroad, 4Wheeler etc) and look at the advertisers for starters. Better yet, read some of the articles first. You many get an understanding of the basics.... EVERY company that sells lifts makes one the 85 Toyota. They are pretty cheap too. NOTHING from a wrecking yard will fit without being pure custom, and since you had to ask that question my guess would be you aren't up for designing your own suspension....
