Help....3rd gen turn signals not working after mod..
I have a 99 4runner and have attempted to do the turn signal/ parking light socket combination mod tonight and now my turn signals will not work. I did find a 10 amp tail light fuse that kept blowing every time I tried to power the vehicle with the turn/stop socket. The fuse was replaced several times and the possible cause I found was that the contacts inside the turn/stop socket were touching each other(guess). After hours of trying to make this mod work I decided to return all wiring and lights back to stock and I replaced the 10amp fuse. The fuse and all other fuses appear to be good with the original wiring/ lights back on, but now all my turn signals(front and rear) do not work.
Is it possible for a relay to go out? if so, where is the relay located? Does anyone have any other suggestions on other things to check out/test?
Thank you in advance for reading this post and for any suggestions you may have.

Thanks everyone for your help. I found the problem to be both a fuse(inside) and a poorly made turn/stop socket. The contacts on the inside of one socket was grounding out. After fixing the contacts the mod worked like it should.
