I just searched the archives on 4x4Wire's Forum, and found some messages indicating a 10 year warranty on head gaskets and a "2nd round recall"?

Does this actually apply? I just found out that my HG is leaking at cylinder #1. The HG Recall was done about 2-3 years ago.

Guys, What are my options?

 

There was a recall on the 2nd (90-95) gen head gaskets. They were covered under warranty! If I were you, get the VIN and go to your nearest Toyota dealer and ask them to run the # and see if the HG has been replaced. It is free, and if it isn't, have them replace it! Goodluck! Maybe someone else here can give you better info. than this, but I tried :beaver:

 

Just an FYI--there also was a recall on 3.4L headgaskets 96/97
