I forget who, but one of my "friends-that-happens-to-be-girl" named it Frankie the 4Runner. My g/f's friends named her car Velma the Volvo. It's an '89 Volvo 240.

i have always named my vehichles or the vehicles my family has owned.
1- 77 ford grand torino was gertrude (split pea green)
2- ?? plymouth arrow was the flying poopsicle (poop brown)
3- ?? chrysler lebaron was white lightning (slow as molasses)
4- 79 ford f100 ranger was franky (still don't know why)
5- 99 F150 extended cab, 4" lift, 35's was Sampson
but with my 94 yota i haven't finalized a name for her, it is a girl. i usually call her Yoda, or yesterday i was talking to her cause she was down a quart of oil and called her girl. i probably won't name her till i repaint her, and she's gonna be purtty. (final paint choice is all white, then grey rhino lining on the fenders and from the chrome strip down, stripes gonna be taken off, and grey rhino lining on the toolbox and bed rails.) then she might become the White Swan.

Either "Baby" or "Piece of ˟˟˟˟˟", depending on how it's running... So it's either, "Come on baby..." or "Come on you piece of ˟˟˟˟˟..."

I was at the beach one day and there was a car stuck in the sand. The owner was a very nice looking girl my age and a few of her friends. Of course I decided to help them out just to feel macho. One of the girls asked if the "raz mobile" could pull it out. I just said it could, but didn't understand what she was talking about.
About a few days later I noticed my letters on the license plate spell "RAZ." So the "RazMobile" has just stuck with my friends, even though I think it's pretty dumb. I just call it my car.
If I EVER call it my truck my girlfriend screams at me..."It's not a truck! It's and SUV!"

I call mine "Jade" as well. Named after the color, Imperial Jade Mica. the coolest car color on the planet. I always like that name anyway. Named my site after it too. Still working on that though.

One of my friend's dubbed mine the "mini-beast"....since we call his 87 F-250 the "Beast".
Him and I also went on a road trip to Oregon during winter with my truck and he started calling it the "Snow Bunny" cause of all the snow.....thank god that name never stuck. :pat:

Hey Cal, don't you think that's just a tee bit anal retentive?

I always just referred to mine as "the Runner" or "momma's grocery gitter" or "the family hauler" but once i started getting obsessed AGAIN with mods after the rebuild she became "MODZILLA"
