have poping in front end

Need help i own a 2002 4runner sport with a 2.5 inch daystar lift and here recently i have a poping in my front driver side suspension area. it usually does it worse on rougher parts of road and terrain. Is it a cv axle going out or maybe a shock

Yep, CV more than likely. A remanufactured OEM or rebuilt one is your best bet. If using a new one from the big box stores, Napa works.

Not hard at all, I used this write up as a general guide and I was able to do mine by myself in a couple of hours. That's with the first time 'learning curve' If I had to do it again i'm sure I could do it in half the time.

Also you should make sure that everything is tight on the spring and coil, is the daystar lift compressed within the coil/spring pack or is is just a spacer placed on top of the existing coil/spring? If it's compressed within the spring you need to make sure it was compressed properly and the nut on the shock/topspacer is properly tightened. Any slack in here could be causing the pop.

Here you go for a link that shows it all:
http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/maintenance/cv_axle/

I went with the MasterPro from Oreilys only because I had a credit there. I would like to have gone with the NAPA, but it was a good $45 dollars more. Plus I did not have to swap any pieces over from the old CV to the new. And there was no core charge.
