harsh ride - ideas needed

2000 2wd 4runner ltd. Stock size michelin tires. Sonoran Steel 'System 3' suspension. 90k miles.

The truck feels extremely harsh when hitting bumps and even seams in the road.

It's felt this way prior to getting the SS suspension and still feels this way afterwards. I would say that the past 15-20k miles is when the bad ride developed.

Just looking for ideas of what other items might be causing this rough ride.

Thanks!

Harsh ride is usually a spring & shock deal, but maybe bushings or tire pressure. If you're running higher than 35psi that could do it. The Sonoran System 3 should be pretty close to brand-new-car ride. Since the ride has deteriorated maybe look at replacing your bushings with new factory ones. You could also consider moving to an OME suspension setup with the "comfort" shocks. That's my $.02
Good luck!

Call Steve at Sonoran Steel. He will be able to help you figure out what is causing your harsh ride.
