Goodridge brake lines-length ???

Anyone know if the goodridge stainless steel brake line kits are stock length or long enough for a 3" lift ???

(I did search for almost an hour here on yota tech before I posted this one)

I'm almost certain they are 1-2" longer. I installed them on my '93 acura and they were longer than stock.
Was planning to buy them for my 4runner a few months ago and recall reading somewhere they were longer...might of been ebay but not sure.

Call them and ask. Let me (us) know what they say...

from here, it says max of 2.5" lift:

http://www.wheelersoffroad.com/96024runnerblines.htm

but you can fab a bracket that will allow the lines to be used even with a 3" suspension lift or higher, depending on your need.

I had seen that on wheelers off road but didn't know if those hoses were the Goodridge brake lines on that were on their website.

Angry Don't buy Goodridge front brake lines!

I bought these from Wheelers Offroad about 5 yrs ago(nothing but good things to say about Wheelers). The hoses were steel braided with a red plastic protective sleeve. Two things I noticed on day of installation:

1) The hose ends were not identical. Made the install/secure at each end a tiny bit more difficult than the stock hoses. (Barely fit through the connection
tabs... so getting the C-clip on to secure the hose was a little tough)
2) The length of the hoses were actually a bit shorter than the stock ones! Not by much.... maybe 1/16-1/8". (This came back to haunt me)

THE PROBLEM -
My suspension isn't stock. Plus with the extended Icon coilovers and Total Chaos upper arms, supposedly I get an extra 1/2-1" travel. After some time, I did notice that the passenger side hose seemed to have a bit of a crimp in it. Didn't think much of it until climbing a hill and cranking wheel to hard left... and when I pressed-down on brake pedal..... damn! All the way to the floor. The right-front hose (after years of being stretched repeatedly) had finally burst.

If you have a stock suspension the front Goodridge brake hoses are probably fine. But unless they have changed/improved the design, I'd look elsewhere if you have any non-stock suspension.
