"Good Sounding" Filters?
As I understand, on a N/A intake, the engine has to suck air in through your filter. I've heard some people talk about cone filters that accually sound cool when air is sucked in through them. Does anyone know of any filters that "sound good?" Thanks.

im not to concerned with the way my air filter sounds as oppose to how it works! im not really sure its the filter making the sound anyways, as more of just the air getting sucked in. cone filters allow 360 degrees of air to be sucked in as to a square filter, so naturally the cone would bring in more air at once. thats my .02 cents.

On my Tacoma you can hear the air coming in with the Amsoil and deckplate mod. First few times I started I kept thinking that it was low volume radio static :pat:

i can hear my air coming in, but isn't that just do to the fact that more air is coming in thru the intake due to the modification? i know that with amsoil and k and n filters, they do allow more air into the engine, but its not the filter making the noise?
