I like white on my 88 and black on my 02. You can barely see in the pic.

I can't believe you'all concern yourselves with this stuff. WHO CARES?!?! Just put the tires on, get in your truck and go play!!

BTW, black out!

I like white out but if you have crappy tires than go black out so it is harder for people to tell.

Lol I like chanson's logic. I like em white out, depending on the size of the sidewall compared to the rim. If theres big tire wall, it adds attitude, otherwise go black. But my final answer is white.

Thumbs up

White facing out. Seems to be the way to go here in Aus. At the moment my white is facing in as I just got my truck but when time comes to get new tires the white will be facing out.

If your letters are still white after having them for a while, you are not wheeling your rig enough!!!

I know, I know. ... Steve says the same thing. All show, and it never gets to go.

It's 110 degrees out. I don't want to wheel, I want to stay inside!

I wish mine where black out. I forgot to tell the guys putting them on to go black. HOWEVER, I think if you arent going to wheel much and can keep them clean....go white. Mine are brown outs now and takes a lot of work to get them back to off white.

Here are some random takes on this subject:

Remember when you paid $10 a tire more for it to have white letters??

Have you ever seen a 44" tire with white letters out? Wait, do they even have white letters?

When I first got my tires and rims I wanted white out (BFG Mud Terrain). I even made sure my rims were rotating the same way (hurricanes). My spare was centered out back so the "Mud Terrain" part read horrizontally from left to right (wasn't rotated to read up and down). Even the little Jeep logo on the rim matched up. My brother and I spent the extra time mounting the tire to the rim so everything looked just right. That was also when we'd spend hours washing it right before we went mudding and leave it dirty all week. That was 8 years ago. Now it's falling apart and who cares. Point - just drive and enjoy it.

White out!

and, I know I need bigger tires. The 265X75's just aren't big enough with 3" of lift. FYI, They looked great and didn't rub at all with stock.
