Gas guage problems with 2003 taco?
We have a 2003 tacoma, 4-door 3.4l 4x4, no TRD
The gas gauge is very sketchy. We just filled it up yesterday, and now its bouncing between half full and empty.
Common problem?

after i fill mine up, when i get about 30-40 miles on the tank, the gauge will fluctuate between 3/4 and empty until i get about 80 miles on the tank. all i can figure is maybe there is a dead spot on the sending unit when the tank is just below full
