I don't run LC coils and airbags. I'm running LC coils with Monroe Air Shocks. It's as simple as replacing your current shocks with the air shocks of the similar length, and you'll have the best of both worlds then.

Something to consider: I am only running 265/75s, which are much skinnier than 285s, which could be the culprit of more body roll than the folks with 285s. Until I get wider tires, the swaybar stays on for me.

here is my rig
Before 1.25 tons of gravel:

after 1.25 tons of gravel:

About 2500# and I have some sag. Not a to, but the springs are not overly compressed nor are they the same without any load.

Really? There is only so much flex possible in the front. I have low profile bump stops and I can stuff it until they hit. I also have extended length shocks and 1" top spacers so it droops until the ball joints hit the springs. There is no way to get any more flex without going to long travel.

In the rear I have the LC springs and OME's (currently) so that would be the same as well.

I really only responded above to mess with Banjo, it's been a while since I've rattled his chain.

I haven't installed them yet. I am waiting on a set of custom lower links. I know they are almost 2" longer than the OME's so that means I will have even more gas tank trouble.

I am talking to a guy here about customizing my gas tank...I'll let you all know what I find out.

He does need his chain rattled from time to time!

Yeah, keep me posted on the LC shocks-that should be interesting. I assume pics will be posted?

By custom lower links-are you getting custom lower control arms?

You're exactly right! Yours probably even has more compression than mine up front, because I only have the stock bumpstops. So you're the real winner, Jim!

And, in the rear I'd say the onyl difference we have is that I have a JJ joint on the driver's side of my panhard bar, but since the shocks are the same length, so we're the same the rear.

So, overall, you're the winner, Jim!

??

Schaeffer had custom rear lower control arms at one time. I could sure use some, as mine are bent pretty bad.

I have a 96' w/ Taco TRD coils on Bilstien HD's and 1.25 spacers netting 22.75" fender-to-hub on 265 BGF's in the front.

My problem is the rear is about .75-1.0" lower than the front even with 1.5" spacers. This used to not be a problem with my cross-linked air shocks w/ no spacers but since switching to Billies hauling stuff just sucks.

I don't know if those FZJ80 coils would be too much, as I am trying to avoid spacers in the rear.

After installing front setup mentioned above, I kept the rear air shocks for a while and the truck sat level with a slight rake at 90 psi in the shocks. That was ideal as I like to often haul things. They rode like crap, though(hence the swap to Billies).

Any help or comments would be much appreciated.
