Fuel Injector Replacement??
I just got my RC Engineering 370cc injectors today, and I'm excited about getting them installed, but I have a question:
1) Do I have to buy the insulators for the end furthest away from the connector?
RC sent the injectors with the o-ring for the end closest to the connector, but the opposite end doesn't have anything. Can I re-use my existing ones or do I have to purchase new ones from Toyota? I'd like to re-use the old ones, since no one has them in stock, and I'd have to wait until Tuesday, but if that's what I need to do, I'll do it!
Thanks,
Chris

you actually should double up on the o-rings on the orifice side of the injectors and dont forget to put a bit of corn-oil on the o rings so that they slide in easily and you dont damage the rubber and have leaks. I used my same factory o rings again since they were in good condition and not deteriorated. just dont smear gasoline on the rubber and expect it to slide in easy, it dont work that way. you need to use some sort of lubricant. I had to fix some "mechanic" install of fuel injectors where he put gasoline on the o-rings and it evaporated and dried out the rubber and then the rubber tore and the injectors started spraying raw gas all over the engine!!

When installing the Lucas injectors you should reuse the large manifold groment and wet the O-ring that seals the fuel rail with gasoline.

Hey guys,
As you might already know, I've got everything running, and it's awesome to have the power on tap. The only problem is I've got a leaking injector on the passenger side most rear placed injector. I'm not sure if any others are leaking on the driver's side. What's the easiest way to fix this?
