I popped open the driver's side door panel so i can get access to my speaker and this black plastic clip fell out of the door panel as soon as I got it off (actually a small tab broke off of something I don't know and this big clip fell out too).Where is this suppose to go?

Oh yeah? I wasn't real sure where that went myself. I just kinda made something up. What exactly does it do any way?

 

Thanks for the directions Hboss.I did replace the passenger door speaker first and I didn't have the clip on that side but I did have it on the driver's side.

 

I don't know what it does to be honest, but I'm open to guesses. Funny thing A+, is that it was the reverse for me. I had one on the passenger-side, but not on the driver-side.

 

I know this is a really old thread, but is there any chance that the pics from reply 3 are still around?
