Fresh pic
Here's a (low quality) pic's of my 4Runner since I painted it Navy Blue pearl metalic (Nanson).
Check out that rear deflector, I'ld be wiling to bet that no one on the board can tell me where/what it came from, but I need the money for more mods, so I won't.
Fred
....I'ld post a few better shots if I could figure out how to post them all at once.

Paint looks good.
If you are looking for a photo host, a guy setup a page.
www.montypics.com
The site works for linking pics to any forum, but it puts his name on the pics.
It does use server space of his, and a few have started to donate some $$$ to keep the service up & running.

Thanks guys
All tolled the paint, including 2 sealer/primer coats, 3 color coats, 3 clear overcoats, and a 4hr. rental of a hvlp gun ran me just this side of 200$CAN. Of course that came after a week of nights in the garage fixing rust outs and modify'in the rear deflector. The paint isn't perfect, I ended up with 1 barely noticable run, and 1 sag (also barely noticable), but it's still far better than a $600 single coat Macco job! Not too bad for a first ever attempt at painting a car/truck, if I do say so myself.
The paint's really kinda cool, at night it's black, in the shade it's got a purple tint, and in the sun it just shimmers. The pic's don't do it justice.
Since nobody really cared,,, the deflector came from a '76 Plymoth Volare station wagon, and is solid resin. Here's another pic.

Forgot to mention that I also painted the wheels Graphite metalic (the original painted metal was really nasty) and that I did get some orange peel in the final clearcoat.
