Guys if any of you have new and unused items that we can use as a raffle prize .. please pm either Andy (bamachem) or me with the details, and well add it to the list of prizes, and hopefully raise a few more dollars. Thanks!

the thread was locked so I could remove some mentions of yotatech.com.
it's for a raffle for an arb taco bar, some ipf lights, some stubbs sliders, and some other cool stuff.
the post will be back up shortly.

I thought I posted in another thread about this, but my browser may have had a cramp and not posted it. But I'm down with this bigtime. The only problem is that I hate paypal. And I thilnk I saw that only paypal is accepted. Is there any thought on accepting checks? Not everyone has or will use paypal, so maybe it's something to think about? But you may have your reasons for only going with paypal...I don't know.
I'd be down with two tickets though...! Hopefully we can play ball...it's a great cause and a great way to get some stuff, too...

I just wanted to say thanks for putting this on you guys!!! Also a big hand to those donating the cash for the kids! The yotatech crowd has ALWAYS impressed me- class act group of people.
Thanks again,
Richard Stubbs
PS- I dont know if this picture will come out OK but if the winner wants I will make them a set just like these ( exaggerated taper) , and for the real bonus I will TIG weld the complete outer assembly. A set of sliders like this I would have to sell well in excess of $350 because TIG work is EXPENSIVE! It will be one of only two made , and the only one with TIG welding. (Note* we may sell these in the future minus the TIG welding of course)
For those who might not know- All sliders made by all Manfacturers(including ourselves) are made by MIG welding. It is a very good process , and is also what virtually all welded products are made with including your Toyota!
TIG welding is generally reserved for Titanium , Chromoly , High end Aluminum products , copper alloys basically REALLY expensive materials. The reasons it is expensive are:
1. The machines cost big $$$$$
2. The process is so slow that it consumes massive amounts of
electricity , sheilding gases , and of course labor!
The payoff- Some of the most pure , sound welds on the face of the planet! (Airplanes use alot of TIG welding in them!). Did I mention that the welds are absolutely beautiful!!! When I sit down with my Miller TIG machine to make these it will be a labor of love.......these will be very special indeed.
Thanks again,
Richard Stubbs

One more thing..............
If you have bought a set of our sliders in the past , and you win these in the raffle you have a choice of:
1. Taking these sliders for yourself.......remember were paying for the shipping costs aswell!
OR
2. I will give you $235.00 ! Doesn't matter if you have the first set we ever sold or just bought them today we'll make sure you get something that you want!
The only exception would be Christian since he got his for free in a different raffle........just joking we'd give him the cash too. However I would be wondering why or how he could be that lucky.
Get busy people & let people know,
Richard Stubbs

WOW Richard .. thanks man!!
Come on guys lets keep this going. Also please spread the word to all the other forums as well. They don't have to be toyota-specific, we have stuff that can work even on jeeps. But the point is, its for the kids .. lets get the whole 4wheeling community in behind this effort.
