Found a replacement Yota

You may remember that my father's 85 Xtracab sacrificed itself in a head-on with a semi back in January.

Well, we found and today bought a replacement for it. It took a while, but we knew the right truck was out there somewhere. It's not black, but is an 85 XtraCab 4x4 in excellent shape. One (older) owner, no rust of course, not around here!) no dents! Very clean inside, drives like a dream, with only 135k miles on it. He paid $2800 for it. I think that was well worth it.

Too bad he can't drive it yet, he just had yet another surgery and isn't up to much just yet. Thanks everyone for your kind words and to those who gave heads-ups to possible replacement rigs.

Pics of old truck and new below.

Great news Phil! I'm really happy for him! Hope all of the surgeries are going well and the recovery time is minimal!

Looks good Phil! It looks just like the 86 we found for my son. Right down to the canopy! Glad to hear he is doing better. Our thoughts are with ya.

Flamed, nice YOTA! It looks just like Roger's. 2800, no rust, 135,000.....NICE.
It'll go another 100,000 without missing a lick.
