ok maybe i am didn't see what i thought i did but i thought i saw something before about a firestick ant. mod. i am not sure what this was for but if anyone has a link to it or if i didn't really see anything. but anyway if any one knows i searched the forum and couldn't find anything. . .

Hmm. I'm not sure I recall anyone ever modifying their antenna. Perhaps you may be thinking of a quick disconnect or something along those lines? The FireStik II's allow you to screw/unscrew the tip for tuning purposes, but I doubt that is what you're referring to. Some (all?) CB's can be modified to allow for a higher signal to be transmitted which Corey and a few others have done. Not sure on this one, just throwing a couple things out.
