Thanks, Chris! I was mostly impressed with the "tyre dressing" ... they look soaking wet and it's been hours since I applied that stuff. Very nice!

Yeah! They look great!

I had some idiot co-worker think it would be funny and write some obscenities in the hood of my rig in the dust. Now its etched into the paint. I gotta buff it out and send them the bill.

Ugh. That is horrible, Chris. Did you take some pics first just in case you have to "prove" that it etched into the paint? The first time I went offroading, my truck got all muddy and before I could even get home later that afternoon, the mud had etched spots all over the hood. They are still there ... all over. I triied buffing them out, I tried using rubbing compound, I tried EVERYTHING and NOTHING would get rid of them or even lessen their appearance.

I hope that you have much better luck than that when you buff out the obscenities.

Its still on the hood, plain as day. I've had many comments about it already and am still trying to figure out what to use to get it out. Its pretty ridiculous really.

I wish you could show us a picture, but since it's an obscenity, I guess that would be a problem?

Tracy, That looks outstanding. I'm so use to seeing your Runner from the view of your avitar, that the view from the back is nice. You've really got yourself a nice ride.

Thanks, DJ! I love my truck, even if sometimes I get frustrated while working on it. The only bad thing is that lately I've been really really wanting to find some bigger tires again. Probably not 35s again, but something a little bigger than these 275s. I wish they made the BFG A/Ts (or comparable) in 305/70/17s. RARRR

Maybe I'll snap one and PM it to you. if you look at my avatar its right above my passenger headlight in that area. (Its not visable in the avatar, but gives you an idea of where it is)

I remember how much time it used to take to clean a 4Runner...I just spend that time modding now...

That rig looks good but it is BEGGING for some bigger tires...those just look way small!

Looks awesome! One of the few pics I've seen of your rig.

Are those WARN stickers photochopped on there?

I went at mine today will everything I had. Washed it, waxed it,buffed it. You name it I did it. The obscenities came out for the most part, you REALLY have to stare at it now to see it. But it still angers me greatly, I'm going to try some other things to see if I can get rid of it completely.

Nope, they're not photochopped. You may have me confused with my ex-business partner. I don't do photochopping.

Thank you for the compliment on my rig though!

I wish you luck on that ... but it's great that most of it has come out. Which word is it? Any chance you could let the dust build up and add a few letters to the end or beginning of the word to change it into something better?

But truly, I'm glad some of it has gone. You'll probably always be able to see it more clearly than anyone else since you know it's there - perhaps then it will go unnoticed by most. I don't blame you for being pissed. I am too and it's not even mine!
