Extra Cab How much Room?

What the proper name first off? Extra cab? Extended Cab? Extra Cab? Next can a Human Being fit back there? I want bigger then a reg cab but Not a 4 door. Tacoma's 96-01 range. Whats the deal? Thanks alot!

If it's anything like my '88 Xtra Cab, it gives you about 12-15 inches more space. I think some of them had the little seats that faced each other. Not a ton of room, but nice for extra junk in your truck.

mine has two fold-down forward-facing seats. i can fit back there fine (5'11" 160 lbs) but i wouldnt put anyone bigger back there. its comfy for limited amounts of time. its plenty of room for interior storage however, ive fit a LOT back there while moving between home and school

2002 extra is like yours. i have fit 4 decent sized guys and gear in the back on the way to the outerbanks to fish. 5-6hr drive and they didnt bitch. damn good truck

It will do in a pinch to haul a couple of extra folks around. It's not spacious though. It sounds like it will be big enough for your purpose though. You can cram a bunch of supplies, groceries or other misc. junk in there.

It will be spacious if you are used to a regular cab.
