exhaust burping after new spark plugs

exhaust burping after new spark plugs
97 3.4l
After the truck started misfiring yesterday I swapped out all the plugs, coils, and wires today. Afterwards, the exhaust started making a low burping noise while idling, about once a second. Driving it the noise stops and it feels great. I used a torque wrench on the NGK platinum plugs (didn't check the gap, read you do not need to). On another forum someone says this is an ignition issue, different car though. Anyone ever experienced this?
