i just bought an 04 tacoma, and i know you've probably all heard this before but what exaust system is the best. now i want something relativley loud, but at the same time i want good performance, oh and is it better to run the wider pipe all the way to the catylic or past it or what. any info would be great, thanks

 

search the site and there will be a load of info.

i would say get a magnaflow and headers... then it will be plenty loud.

if you want a whole catback system gibson is usually good.

but if you use the search you will find a ton of stuff.......

somewhere there is a link with abunch of different mufflers on a toyota 3.0 engine.... that might help a little....

JUST SEARCH.... and you will find.

 

I have on 04 Taco and I just got a 24" Magnaflow muffler and I really like it. No need to replace the whole exhaust, just have the muffler welded in.

There are a lot of threads on this subject, specifically the Maganflow muffler. If you want to get a cat back, I recommend the Magnaflow system... just make sure you post pics when you get it installed.
