engine trouble

my 22re, when around 1500 rpms, its an estimation as i have no tach yet, starts to die or sputter then goes back to 1500 rpms then stays there for a few seconds then sputters to lower rpms and then revs back up. is there a bad vacum somewhere? a valve stuck or something. im confused.

When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? Sounds a bit like fuel starvation...

See if its throwing an engine code. mine did that a while ago, it was throwing a tps idle setting code, or something like that. i had to adjust the tps on the throttle body (also cleaned the throttle body while i was there), and that took care of the problem.
