Emblems?????

What is the best way to put on emblems?, wash and then put on, or wash and wax and then put on???? They would be going on the paint. Or is there a different way all together to do it?????

Aiight...what emblem you got? If you plan to remove the emblem later...you can wax/buff first. There may be a chance it may peel off easily (if it's not 3M tape). If you want it to stick real good (no plans to remove it) wash, and wipe the area with alcohol to remove the existing wax. Denatured alcohol is best, but rubbing alcohol will do. I usually run a piece of masking tape under the spot the emblem is going...to give a straight edge line. Step back to see if it looks level and where you want it. Fold masking tape behind the emblem to make a double stick thing. Press it on above the tape, and step back to see how it will look. If it's fine...stick it. You got one shot (with 3M stuff) don't blow it.

you'll see after I put it on and take pictures. I think it's 3m tape and I don't plan to remove it, so all I gotta do is make sure it's straight.
