Electrical question

I'm installing an aftermarket Keyless Entry on my 2000 4runner. I bought a factory service manual on CD, but their are so many wires on this thing I can't tell whats were. Plus, the manual refers to pages in the book, but it prints without page numbers.
I'm looking for the wires that control the parking lights, ignition switch and dome light. I found the wires for the door locks so I got those working, but I need to make the parking lights blink, the dome light turn on, and the engine immobilizer to work.
I believe the parking lights are controled by a green wire, but I have found about 30 green wires. Is their a particular connector that I should look for? The wires running down the steering column go up into the dash so I can't trace them to a particular connector. Any suggestions?

Anyone else have the Factory Service Manual on CD? I am really disappointed with it. It should be one huge .pdf, not 500 .pdfs hidden in 300 different files. I can hardly keep track of what I have printed.

i'm pretty sure you can add pdf's together with adobie
and.. if you have a cd burner just burn a new file/CD as just one file.

I use to do this at work a lot. You may need a full version of Adobie Acrobat (not just reader).

I did that too for some of the files I downloaded off of a tech website. Theres just too many files to organize and still stay sane.

if you were to run a ground wire up to the dome light, it would work, would be easier to find the wire there. Im not sure about the parking lights, never hooked up that feature
