for 115 bucks, sounds like a good deal IF it would work. anyone tried it? how big is the opening on the stock 4runner shroud? anyone think this option would work? any ideas n what not appreciated...

 

...also, what years volvo fans will work for the electric fan mod? there was a s60 fan from an 03 on ebay for 35 bucks that ended today, but i wasnt sure about fitment with our shrouds. from what i understand, 99-01 will work, but just wondering about later years' fans

 

Ask bamachem. He has the volvo fan if I'm not mistaken.

Bamachem cut the shroud down around the fan he used. It fit right into the stock shroud and used it to hold the fan in place. Do a search for the writeup he posted. I don't know for sure but to me it looks like the type of fan may make no difference. Just make sure it blows enough air.

This is the thread everybody's talking about which I found using the search feature. I would send Bamachem a PM and ask him these questions or post in that thread that already contains a lot of info. Searching will help you find a lot of the answers you're looking for in half the time.

 

i did search, and the questions im asking are different. ..did some research on the net and found out though that the 03 fan wouldve worked so i couldve got a volvo fan for cheap man.
