E-brake and brake light...
#4
It could be as simple as the dash light behind is burned out. I think there must be some sort of switch that is triggered when the e-brake is engaged that sends the signal for the dash light to come on. Someone with more electrical knowledge/experience will post I'm sure.

Thanks for your replies.
I see the
(!)
Brake
light appear on the dash for a few seconds when the ignition is on (it stays on if the truck is not started), so I don't think that it's a bulb problem. I'll look around under the dash for any type of switch etc.

Any ideas of where to start looking?
