dyno...tune?
Well, for my Xmas present to myself, I think I'm take a trip to the dyno.. It's a new place, local.. 60 bucks for three rounds, or 90 bucks for 5 hours, 5 full runs and some more extras.. I was wondering:
Is it possible to tune (adjust timing and A/F ratio etc.) a '99 Tacoma 3.4l without a chip or plug-and-play device, like Unichip?
I don't know if I'm willing to pay a 1000 bucks just to be able to tune my N/A truck..
If not, I might just do it for fun to see where my truck is at power-wise. It IS only 60 bucks, and it sounds like it would be fun..

You're not going to be able to tune anything. Even with a plug and play device you'll have a hard time telling the ECU to stop being stubborn. Save yourself $30
