Thumbs up Downey Coils are on

I replaced my rear Performance Products coils with the Downey 3.5" coils today. I got somewhere between 2.25" and 2.5" lift with these.

The first thing I noticed was no more rattling coils

They ride great and the Runner looks better with the rear a bit higher than the front.

I have a pair of Performance Products 1" lift coils for 96-02 4-Runner for sale. You get 2" of lift with these if you have Bilstein shocks.
PM me if you are interested...

Post a profile pic!

And...by the way, those rear shocks look a little dirty, what happened?

I'm going to have to find a flat spot to take a profile picture. My sloped driveway doesn't cut it.

I am interested in the rear coils, you have any pics of your rig with the 1in coils installed?

Thanks

Hey Vato,

Here's before any lift.

After the PP coils were installed.

I got 2"-2.25" lift with Bilstein shocks in the rear. They also can handle a heavy load in the rear without bottoming out. I had 10 - 80lb bags of concrete loaded in the back earlier this summer.

PM me if you are interested in the coils.

INsr5runner,

I'm keeping the Front PP coil overs because I have 2" lift in the front with them which is enough for now. They handle great so for this stage of my Mods I'll keep them awhile longer.

Here's what it looks like with the Downeys on the back. Much nicer profile with the back raised a bit more. Tire size is 275/70/16

No on the muffler, I have had family visiting for the last 3 weeks, they left this morning so I may have a chance to breathe. :pat:

OK, I have a "Mother's" clay bar that's never been used. Will that work?
