Doors Wont Lock!

Anyone had this problem? My 4Runner wont lock with the switch, remote, or keys. Unlocks just fine. Help?

Anyone? There's nothing aftermarket except the stereo, and I'm positive that's hooked up right. I think it may be something with the ignition switch...? Maybe it thinks the key is still in there?

Body ECU

Had the same problem on mine. Although I could lock mine manually with the key, it just wouldn't lock the rest of the doors.

I was hoping it was a cheaper fix, but I finally broke down and ordered the Body ECU. It's where all the fuses go under the steering wheel. Expensive part at $300-400 but it solved the mystery.

Same thing happened to me in February of this year then all of a sudden the doors would lock again. But only with the door switch. If it goes out again I'll have to replace the body ECU; which I hear is an expensive part.

300-400 just to get the doors to lock? Could probably get a pit bull and a chain for that much money.
