hello i need some more help...again... I'm looking for some in door tweeter mounts for my baby...she's getting upgraded to sr5 door panels next week and I wanted to know if anybody knew wether or not there was a source for those tres cool in door tweeter mounts that go on the interior side of the mirror mounts that would fit my 94 xtra cab. (they are/were a stock item on the 4runner limiteds.) thanks for the help.

 

You should be able to order the plastic panels themselves from Toytoa, and then jerry-rig something from this list in-behind them:

I just replaced my stock tweeters up there with a set of JBL P-23t's and was able to rig the original bracket to hold them. You'll have to look at your door frame to see if you have a small bump up there and a screw hole. That's where the original tweeter bracket fits in. That should be orderable from Toyota as well.

Or.. head to a junkyard and see if you can find a Limited sitting around.
