I have a 1999 4Runner Sport, My door locks don't work when the door is open or the key is off, any ideas guys ? This makes it a little difficult to program my remote.. thanks

 

whats the first problem? that the doors dont lock when your door is open? is your vehicle operating (engine) while you are trying this?

or is it you cant program your alarm. have you found the RS3200 alarm programming instructions? if you search "rs3200 remote" or "rs3200 programming" you will find it

I just have remote keyless entry, no alarm system, I'm trying to program the remote and it says that you have to cycle the door locks with the door open, but my locks don't function with the door open, I'm pretty sure my 95 locks worked with the door open, but not sure, but ????
