Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum, but this is my second Toyota, had a 98 Tacoma prerunner before, went over to the dark side and got a jeep, but now I'm back with a 96 4Runner. I'm having trouble trying to figure out whats going on with my dome light. I've checked the fuse multiple times and its good. The light works if I manually turn it on, but not with the doors open. I've checked both switches and they are set to door. I also know that the plunger switches in the doors are working because the indicator on the dash lights up, but no dome light or warning chime for the headlights/key in ignition either. I'm guessing that these issues are related, any help would be much appreciated.
