GUILTY as charged! I sometimes walk around her before I get in (the truck) to make sure that nobody dinged me opening their door. I'm not very comfortable with other people driving my truck so unfortunately I never get to see my truck moving. I would never let a girl drive my truck...just doesn't seem right!

GUILTY! X3!

Though I'm sure I look at it more when it's all muddy, then when it's all clean and shiny.

yup, i do that all the time... some times to check lights, but usually just because. I added a switch on the trim where the "door open" plunger is, so that i could disable the buzzer while listening to the radio and working on it. I love watching people drive it, but I hate letting people in the drivers seat with the keys... so it makes it kinda difficult.

hahahaha, this is so funny. I look back everytime I walk away. I think its called obsession. I always wanted to see what my rig looks like when its being driven, but I never let my girlfriend drive it. She always asks to take it when she's running errands, but I have to decline everytime. She gets really mad about it, especially b/c I drive her car sometimes. Its just hard to explain....

Funny you should mention this - I don't wash my truck as often because of other projects, lack of time, and lack of water spout in my parking area (damn Housing Association) but I got a compliment from one of my neighbors saying that the last time she'd seen my truck clean, "it was SO pretty!"

Guilty as charged, on all counts! This is exactly why I love this place...I am not alone. My girls (ages 2 and 4) always want to go in Daddy's big red truck! My wife does not understand why our vehicles must be cleaner than anything else in our house. I try to explain, but she still doesn't get it.

haha. got me pegged. every time i walk away from it i tell my wife "damn that's a good lookin' truck" and right on cue as we're walking back i say "whose truck is that? dang check that out...". both are met with the obligatory eye-roll.

I'd have to cry if my girlfriend would drive my truck away, cause it's a 99.9% chance that it'll come back totalled!
