You can't do the ISR or deckplate with the FIPK. You can't even do the deckplate on a 2nd gen 4runner. The FIPK removes the elbow and air box.

no, those mods can't be done.. alot of members have found that the FIPK actually decreases performance, where as the ISR and the deckplate do have a slight improvement.
I think this is only true with SC'd 3rd gens. I'm sure the FIPK will give more power on a NA engine because it gets rid of the airbox rather than cutting a 3" or 4" circle in it.

I have the Airaid MIT and an open airbox. If you don't want to fab up your own ISR pipe then the Airaid MIT is a good choice if you have $80 burning a hole in your pocket.

I'm coming up with a very cheap ($20-25 option) and easy option for the ISR. I'll be updating one of my threads when I get it done.

what is the benefit of doing the airbox mod rather than buying a FIPK? rather than saving money NOT buying a FIPK? mind you I'm in a 95 runner, not a 3rd gen...
