Distributor swap from 92/95 to 88/91?
Hello Everyone,
I was wondering...is it possible to simply swap distributors between the 88-91 and 92-95 3.0 V6 engines? I have a aftermarket ignition parts (Crane HI-6 and PS92 coil with Universal Trigger Adaptor) and well my modified coil wire that I was using from the PS92 coil to my distributor cap melted, along with the center terminal on the cap. Is it possible to just buy an 88-91 distributor and cap, and swap them out? I also hate not being able to upgrade my wires to a super low resistance set like I used on my old Datsun with the HI-6. Thanks in advance.
