different shifting pattern in winter?

Hey, i'm not sure if any of you guys would know this, but do shifting patterns change in the winter? i have an auto and usually the shift pattern goes like this, 0-12mph 1st gear, 13-25mph 2nd gear, 26-40mph is 3rd, 40+ is 4th...but now i've noticed that 3rd is 26-46mph...is that normal?? thanks!

I'm not sure of the exact speeds, but it does seem like my 2000 does shift a bit differently in the winter, especially when the engine is cold. Does a harder shift accompany this change?

no, the shifting is not any harder, still has the normal shifting, but i anticipate the shift at 40mph exactly and when it doesn't shift, i am wondering whats going on??
