I have 32"s and recently picked up a used 31" for the spare. I figure 31" is a better match than the 225/75 that was on there. I didn't think anything bigger would fit, but after reading these posts I know differently.

I have all the same size and wheel combo, 4 on the ground, one in the air. I will sell the brand new spare when the ones on the ground are bald.

Steve has a lot more going on to get that 35 to fit that the bumper. The bumper helps only in so much as it gets the hitch out.

Five of a kind for me. Spare (33") squeezes in the stock location without a trailer hitch during on-road driving. When I go offroad, the spare gets moved into the cargo area and strapped down with heavy duty cargo straps (still need to upgrade the tie-down loops to heavier duty hardware) to get more ground clearance in the back end.

Manual hubs are coming soon. Well, that's the plan... What exactly can I fit underneath my Runner? I put a Hidden Hitch on it, and the hitch sits behind the bumper, not below since the truck had 225s stock. My 225 looks like it's a tight fit even. Any advice? Thanks.

I have 4 33x10.5 BFG M/T on the truck and I bought one 33x9.50 BFG A/T for the spare. I wanted to still be able to mount it under the truck. Of course the bracket had to moved out so the tire would fit. I went with the smaller width so it would tuck up under the truck.

No matter what you need a spare that is the same size.

It's in Hamburg, PA (which I believe is right next to port clinton), which is east of lancaster and a little north. near Pottsville, pa home of America's oldest brewery, Yuengling. About 1.5 hrs. from the western suburbs of Philly. Haven't been there yet, heard it's really. Pretty long trip for you Cebby.

On the tire question. I have 4 32x11.5 and a 31x10.5 under the rear. I figure the difference in radius isn't great enough to cause problems. I do hope to upgrade my spare to a 32x11.5 sometime in the future.

Do you really??? It seems like my 225 is pretty close to the trac bar as it is. I'll have to go look at it tomorrow. Thanks Cebby.

I'll try to snap a few pics today. I was considering trying to shoehorn my new 33 up there for now...
