All this complaining...just bypass the factory cooler and call it good. Im thinking on switching my TRD cooler with a IPT cooler and bypass the stock cooler.

 

No, coolant didn't kill my transmission. I had the bright idea to check internet forums upon buying my 4Runner to find common issues. I installed an external cooler and have bypassed the factory one.

IMO, it's all part of owning a vehicle with some miles on it and being an intelligent consumer.
