keisur -- I was reading some lift installation instructions online and a bunch mentioned needing the ball joint separator, though I have no idea what for. I believe you though, as I can't imagine why one would be necessary for the lift.

Hey guys, I've been at my gf's place (no internet) and work all day (where I am now). Lots to cover, here goes.
4Route - Yes, I meant cornfeds. It just seemed funnier to call them cornholes. I'm in Denton right by UNT. You definitely didnt scare anyone away. If anything, your enthusiasm is driving this WAT.
Keisur - That would be great if you could make it! The more the merrier I say. That goes for everyone, 4route, Herk, Designs, Hannerhan, gumbo, and anyone else that wants to stop by. Maybe we could even talk about getting a TX 4ROC together.
Let's try to find a date we can all agree on. 4Route, when do you plan on getting your lift? Let's also get a list together of exactly what tools we'll need.
I work all day tomorrow so I probably won't be posting, but I'll be thinking about it.
Later.

snoozer - ah okay, I just wanted to be sure I wasn't stepping on your toes in this since it was your idea, and really based around whenever you want us all to come. I'm glad I didn't scare anyone away (yet).
Now that I know what lift you're getting, I think I can compile a list of tools ... do you already have all the actual lift parts? In the next few days I'll be doing a lot of internet research for school, so I'll also try to get together some stuff that might help with your lift.
This is the second time in one day that someone has mentioned my enthusiasm about our 4runners ... I think I will try to calm down a bit, and play it cooooool.
I'm not sure when I'll be getting my lift ... I have a feeling it'll take a little while, but I know we'd all be happy to get together and help you with yours and check out trucks and stuff just whenever you want.

Thanks to Lance (GoodTimes) for pointing this link out to me, this will turn out to do a lot of good for your 2" cornfed spacer in the front.
oh, and the rear:

My employers network nazi's have added yotatech to their list of no-no sites so I can't post m-f between 7am-5pm anymore.
Take all the time you need people on the date because the wife and I will be laboriously laying new wood floors and kitchen tiles for the next month so it will be April until I will be able to peel away. I may bring my windsurfing stuff and hit Lake Ray Hubbard while I'm there. These are the weekends that are good for me because I have every other friday off which means 3-day weekends:
April 10th and April 24. the other 2-day weekends I could still make it but I just wouldn't get to go windsurfing.

Its about 1:30 in the morning, I've had ... ooohh lets just say a few beers, and as I read this thread .. I am dying to see what this chick (4route) looks like. On one side I'm picturing a hot young blonde, with a southern accent, and daisy duke shorts who doesn't mind a little grease. But then again she might be 240 lbs, and resemble ana nicole smith or worse
could one of yall post pics of this little WAT, and if she happens to be in one of the pics that would be cool too.
I'd be much obliged.

I actually registered because of this thread....Hi! I live in FTW...
Been lurking here for months to garner info and tips...If you guys can organize this thing I would be interested to lend a hand and maybe get some help. I have been turning my own wrenches for 15+ years now for all my daily drivers.
I am about ready to slide in some Downey coil springs, torsion bars + shocks (cant decide between Bilstiens or Edelbrock IAS..) Funds for these may not arrive in time for the meet but I wouldn't mind helping out as I can...if nothing else I am all but ready to do the intake mod on my 3.0 - I have all the parts but I need a lift to a muffler shop...the closest one to me is way to far to walk to.
I will check back here and see what develops - in case I miss the time/date you can drop me an email to romad556 AT hotmail DOT com
