I was just wondering if someone could answer my question. There are the mirrors on the D-pillar in the units with the 6 speaker system but on the 10 speaker systems the mirrors are no longer due to the speakers. Can I take out the D-pillar speakers in the 10 speaker system and replace them with the mirrors? Can I order the mirrors from Toyota? Just curious because those mirrors are helpful. Thanks....

 

Mirrors can be ordered from Carson Toyota,Carson Ca. Pricing can be obtained via email at their web site or phone. Good people. I know they discount, as I ordered the tailpipe tip, but did not like the price of mirrors. Went to Pep Boys and got two rectangular parabolic mirrors about $10 total. Popped the speaker grills and used clear tape to affix mirrors to grills. Did one horizontal the other vertical. Also used a filler to tilt one more than the other. Got two different type of views. Can see the hitch if I open the hatch. Am not concerened about any effects on the quality of audio, in fact I nor anyone else notices or cares.
