Well, I got it fixed, turned out I needed to replace the axle too, it got some dirt and stuff in there. Is that something that happens often (the CV boot cracking or tearing)? I think it still had the originals, and still does on the pasenger side.
It just got me kind of paranoid and wondered how common it was for that to happen?

my boot blew and i just had the axel replaced this past thursday. im not sure if this is common or not...the older the boot the more of a chance it has to break i guess.
