CV Boot Replacement

Hey guys, i am doing my cv boots for the first time today... and i figured i would also do the bearings too.. my question is, how many bearings per side are there... I was told 4 bearing per side? is this correct? thanks in advance for any info

boy oh boy... when i took the dust cover off the axle etc... i noticed that the last ppl to do my brakes must not have had a 54mm socket and mangled both locking nuts and the washer all to hell. :mad: I guess just another reason to learn how to do this crap myself.

There are 4 bearings total on the front end, 2 on each front wheel.

My 54mm nuts were pretty mangled to. Someone went in there with a cold chisel and hammer to chisel the nuts off. They were still good enough to use though. My lock washers were somewhat abused but I flattened them out and they were re-useable also.
