cut fender flares for a 3rd gen?

ok i have seen this done to cherokes but not runners. im debateing on cutting my fenders in the rear of my runner because of cosmetic looks. i want to do "35's without going sky high".

i have seen aftermarket flares for cherokees that are ment to go on cut fenders (so in the rear there are two peice flares, one side on the door and the otherside normal) so you can still open your doors.

if anybody understands what im sayin i would love some info maby i can try to explant it again? thanks, josh

Maybe get some fiberglass fenders up front?? Those will give you the room you need (you'll still need to modify the body seam area). I don't think the rear will be an issue, except maybe the lower section of the stock bumper.

Here is a good write-up: http://www.trailslesstraveled.com/news.php?id=48

ok i know about the body seam no big deal i just was wondering if i could get a fender flare to go on top of it after i trim it. like if you look close at these there 2 piece in the rear (the front half opens with the door) even though that style fender flare would look horrible on a 3rd gen imo.http://www.quadratec.com/products/72506_800_07.htm
because if u trim the fenders theres no more room for a fender flare so you would have to do this.
