Custom 4Runner Top Possible?

Custom 4Runner Top Possible?
I have an '89 4Runner which means the my SUV is convertible. I have an extra top and was thinking about custom cutting it to make it so that the rear end dropped down immediately after the rolebar. This would probably mean having to make a custom snap-on soft top. Has anyone else tried this? Is it even worth imagining? -Justin
