Cruise control disengages

My 99 4Runner seems to be experiencing some problems with the cruise control. I can set the cruise and it will engage, and the green cruise light comes on but if I hit any sort of bump in the road it will disengage, and I have to reset it just by pressing down on the cruise lever. Other than checking the wiring for good connections any other ideas? I just had the master clutch cylinder replaced if that might be relevant?

If it just satrted after replacing the clutch cylinder I would start by checking the switch that cancels the cruise on the clutch pedal. It's just like a brake light switch except it's on the clutch pedal. Maybe it got loose or needs adjusted.

Ditto......It could be the neutral clutch or brake light switches causing that situation.

Cruise control disengaging

Adjusted the cruise control disengage switch which is located just above the clutch pedal and gets depressed when the clutch is fully released. That seems to have resolved the problem.

Thanks
